Vegemite is an Australian cultural institution — not because it is polished, but because it is earned. Vegemite partnered with Gout Gout — and Tempany was commissioned to translate that partnership into a sculptural, bespoke jewellery artefact. The collaboration sits at the intersection of grit, discipline and identity: values all three names hold without apology. The piece honours both talent and legacy.
Created in Melbourne, the work holds 75 brilliant-cut cognac diamonds totalling almost two carats, including rare Australian Argyle stones, set in recycled yellow gold.
This collaboration reinforces the studio’s reputation for translating cultural symbols into objects that communicate layers of meaning. It reflects Tempany’s ability to operate across luxury, sport and national storytelling — without diluting integrity, process or design intent.
